Principal Lawyer

Linda is the founder and Principal Lawyer of Abacus Visa in Sydney, and practises exclusively in Australian migration law.

Prior to founding Abacus Visa, Linda was a migration consultant with PricewaterCoopers for nearly five years specialising on corporate portfolios and employer-sponsored visas.

From 1990 to 1999 Linda was the Principal of Australia China ConnecXion, a boutique professional services firm consulting to businesses and corporations on China-associated topics.

Linda has over 30 years of corporate and small business experience in Hong Kong, London and Sydney. She is known for her strong emphasis on statutory compliance and risk management, supplying businesses and individuals with protection against immigration law breaches and related loss of reputation.

Linda holds a legal practising certificate, has a Diploma of Law and a BA degree majoring in Chinese Political Economy. Linda grew up in Hong Kong, speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin and is a professional level translator in Chinese, and is therefore particularly interested in China-related issues.
