Visa Application Fee Increase - Effective 1 Jan 2012

From 01 January 2012 the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has increased the Government Lodgement Fee charges for various visa applications. Of these, the most significant are:

- 457: increase of visa application fee from $305 to $350

- 856/121(ENS): increase of onshore visa application fee from $2,960 to $3,105 and offshore visa application fee from $1,995 to $2,095

- Resident Return Visa (RRV): increase of visa application fee from $260 to $300

- Bridging Visa B (enabling holders of Bridging Visa A to travel offshore): increase of visa application fee from $105 to $125

 However, there has been a decrease in the following fees:

- Student Visas: decrease of visa application fee from $565 to $535
