| Business Activity | State/Territory sponsorship must be obtained to confirm interest in business proposal. |
| Ownership Interest | Continuous ownership interest in a main business or businesses throughout the period of at least 2 yrs of the 4 fiscal yrs immediately before application is made. |

Post Arrival Obligations - Business Talent visa holders must provide DIMA with a contact address within 6 months of initial arrival. Their progress will be monitored after 24 months of initial arrival. If a BT visa holders have not made genuine effort to engage in business, they may be liable for visa cancellation.
