Subclass 476: Skilled - Recognised Graduate (Provisional) - Offshore

This is an 18 month temporary visa for graduates of recognised overseas universities with skills in demand in Australia. Recognised Graduate 476 visa holders will have unrestricted work and study rights and can apply for a permanent Skilled or employer sponsored visa at any time. The 476 visa is restricted to graduates with a bachelor degree or higher qualification in engineering from a recognised university. The list of specified disciplines and educational institutions is subject to frequent update by the DIAC. Please contact our office for information.

To be eligible to apply, the main applicant must:

• be 30 or under;
• have completed a degree in a specified discipline from a specified educational institution in the last 24 months;
• have Competent English (IELTS 6);
• meet health and character requirements.

There is NO points test for this visa.

(Note: Both Skilled – Recognised Graduate (476), and Skilled–Graduate (485) visa holders will be able to apply for a provisional or permanent GSM visa at any time during the currency of their visa.)
