Subclass 845: Established Business in Australia

Threshold Requirements

You must have an ownership interest in a business in Australia for a minimum of 18 months immediately prior to the date of application.

For 12 months prior to the date of application, you must meet all of the following requirements.

  • Minimum 10% share holdings of ownership in main business (es).
  • Minimum net assets in your main business(es) is not less than A$100,000.
  • Minimum net personal assets (you and spouse) of A$250,000. (This can include the your main business assets above.)
  • You must maintain active and continuous management and involvement in the main business(es).
  • You must have an overall successful business career.
  • You must have a physical presence in Australia for a minimum of 9 months cumulatively out of the last 12 months immediately before the date of application

Except for physical presence in Australia, an applicant must continue to fulfil these requirements up to the date of visa grant.

  2. achieve a minimum turnover of at least A$200,000 p.a.; OR
