SENIOR CONSULTANT AND MIGRATION AGENT
(M.A.R.N. 1572834)

Dan Rudge

Dan has been with Abacus Visa since 2011. In his current capacity as Senior Consultant, Dan oversees the entire Temporary visa portfolio and leads the temporary visa team. Within Abacus, Dan is a particular specialist in the 482 visa program (formally the 457), having successfully lodged thousands of applications for SMEs and international businesses with billion dollar revenues.

The key purpose of my role is the identification of the core problems and the development of solutions in order to achieve the desired outcome for our clients (which in most cases is to get a visa approved). Beyond that, I work with employers to put in place appropriate processes and infrastructure to ensure they have the capacity to employ non-Australians as and when needed, and to make the process as seamless as possible.

Although I thoroughly enjoy what I do, having a healthy work/life balance is very important to me. Away from work, I play most sports, including golf (a former assistant professional many moons ago now) and enjoy keeping fit. To get away from it all you’ll find me reading, cooking (have been a vegan for 5 years) and more recently practicing meditation. All of this stems from being a long suffering Aston Villa fan (up the Villa!).
